Luis Sierra Campos is a movement storyteller, systems change organizer, and narrative strategist with over 20 years of experience leading community-rooted work at the intersection of climate action, clean energy, and cultural journalism.
In 2025, Luis was named one of 20 fellows in the Liberty Hill Foundation’s Environmental Leadership Initiative for his community-centered environmental justice solutions across California. That same year, he was selected for the Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) Fellowship at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). DERMS focuses on grid modernization, clean energy optimization, and equitable city-scale electrification, positioning him at the intersection of policy, technology, and public impact.
Luis bridges journalism, education, and climate strategy to build coalitions that deliver measurable outcomes while centering the voices of communities most impacted by systemic inequities. As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking producer and journalist, he translates complex policy and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that support adoption, alignment, and action across public agencies, nonprofits, and private-sector partners.
Whether coordinating cross-functional teams, producing story-driven campaigns, or working directly in community spaces, Luis operates with the belief that every strategy and engagement is an opportunity to build trust, shift systems, and deliver durable impact.
He holds a BA in Advocacy and Social Justice from Pacific Oaks College and a Project Management Certificate from Caltech Center for Technology & Management Education.
Luis is available for contract, advisory, and full-time roles supporting energy and cleantech companies, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations. His work focuses on translating complex technical and policy-driven initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that build trust, strengthen partnerships, and move projects from vision to execution with measurable impact.
